Welcome to the EA Zurich community!

Effective Altruism Zurich is a registered student organization at both ETH (under VSETH) and at UZH. We run several activities each semester, including an introductory effective altruism seminar and an AI Safety Fundamentals seminar. We also host regular meetups and socials. Impact Seminar

In this 6-week introductory seminar, participants will gain a better understanding of the key concepts of Effective Altruism, as well as how they are applied in different fields.

We are not organizing an in-person seminar in Spring Semester 2024. Instead, we suggest you join any upcoming Virtual Program Intro EA Program.

AI Alignment Group

For students with a technical AI background, we suggest joining the Zurich AI Alignment Group (ZAIA). They host regular discussions, and are also currently hosting an AGI Safety Fundamentals Program.

Socials & Meetups

We regularly organize gatherings to share ideas about our community, EA projects, or any other upcoming topic in a relaxed atmosphere. Check out the calendar below.
